A panoramic hiking and walking trail
This tour is a panoramic hiking and walking trail from St. Anton to Farchant, which is an experience especially in winter. Numerous benches with quotes from famous philosophers enrich this hiking trail above the roofs of Partenkirchen. In addition, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the town, the Bavarian Pre-Alps and the Ammer Mountains. The path, which is also cleared in winter, winds steadily up and down gently and is therefore also an insider tip for Nordic walkers. The entire walk takes approx 1,5 hours.
From the Hideout, go in the direction of the Ludwigstraße in Partenkirchen. Continue on a short climb along Sonnenbergstraße until you reach the Floriansbrunnen, then turn left into Prof.-Michael-Sachs-Straße. At the end of this street keep left again. Via Brunnhäuslweg, follow the signs to Philosophenweg. From here the path continues on level ground to the Schützenhaus. Continuing on, you cross the road and walk past the Schützenhaus restaurant on the left. The path leads mainly evenly downhill and leads at the end once again briefly uphill over the Schwensbichl to Farchant. The path, which mostly leads through mountain forests, offers in between again and again free views of the surrounding mountains.
You can either return the same way or take the local bus from the center of Farchant (at the maypole) to the Rathausplatz, back to the Hideout Space.
